How do I select the triangle profile in the main sketch?

mark_bowmanmark_bowman Member Posts: 4
I am doing the wheel exercise in the learning center, and on step 8 of 23, it wants me to extrude the triangle profile from the main sketch. When I try to do this, I can only select the upper part of the full triangle and not the lower part, as it was extruded in the previous step. I tried this exercise previously, but when I got to the extrude 5 on step 19 of 23, I couldn't get it to extrude. Could you help with this please.
Below are the links to the two wheel exercises. The first is my first attempt, the second is my second attempt.

You may want to try hiding the hub part at those steps to make it easier to select the needed sketch profile. Hiding and showing sketches and parts that might be in a way of a selection is a technique that can help in this situation. The first link looks like you got close but you were unable to merge the spokes to the hub and rim because of that missing selection.
