How do you reduce the polygon count on a shape?

I have recently started to design low poly objects that look like real world items. I use a very manual method of creating projected curves and filling them until the model is completely enclosed. This usually lasts me several hours depending on the complexity of the object I'm trying to make. Now I have been challenged to make a low poly human skull. I don't want to use another person's 3D model but I don't want to spend that much time trying to Any do the manual work. Is there any polygon count adjuster in Onshape which can be adjusted? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

For a skull, you could start with making the general blocky shape. This feature may help with that: Intersect Views
