Beams FeatureScript since V21 merge failing unless Properties are set

Not sure if this is a bug in Beams FeatureScript. But it fails for merge sections unless properties are set. Intentional or bug?

    Thanks, @andyshinn it is now fixed in V25. Looks like that bug has been there for a good while. Also took the opportunity to optimise more parts of the code to improve performance.
