Is there something similar to shift + drag to copy? In the Assembly Studio?

I can't recall which apps use this, but I'm used to being able to copy an object by selecting it and then holding a key (shift) while I drag it to its desired position.
Is there anything similar in the Assembly Studio?

No but you can CTRL+C then place your cursor where you want it and CTRL+V

    Thanks for the tip.

Pity. Ctrl V still is just so ballpark that you wind up positioning parts manually anyway, even when copying from what's in the Assembly already.

It would be nice if you could drag and move, with other geometry and even mates acting as constrains, and shift-drag to copy would be icing on the cake.

The parts studio works pretty nice, with constraints and all when creating and positioning geometry. I hope some of it makes its way into Assembly.
