Exporting to JT 10.7

pete_rimkuspete_rimkus Member, Developers Posts: 4 ✭✭
Hello,

The documentation says that Onshape supports import/export of .JT files up to JT version 10.7.
Is it possible to control what version of JT a part gets exported to?
There is not a version dropdown control in the Export page when JT is selected, and after downloading, I see that the resultant JT file is from JT 9.5.

Thanks in advance
Pete

There are no export options for JT. The help docs are probably wrong. Exporting to an older format version should make it more compatible with more systems?

That is true, but other exporters do have a 'version' option in the export dialog.
Is there a way to elevate this as a request?

For 3D, we only allow Parasolid version export - what will you gain from exporting JT in that particular version?
