I cannot create a drawing

I clicked create a drawing but it is not generating properly in drawings. I want to create it, add dimensions and section views, please help.
The sizing tab in drawings gives various ratios such as 1:1, 1:2, !:3 etc. Can I print a document in a particular ratio lets say 1:3 or 1:1 and get the exact dimensions such that I can paste it over the material stock and making drillings and cutting directly from it?
What software is drawing printed from? Please help.

If you want to have your paper show the part actual size. You will need to select a border that is the same size as your paper or less.
Create your views at 1:1 scale
then print, here you want to change your printer settings to print 100% scale0 -
john_mcclary Member, Developers Posts: 3,938 PROThink of it like autocad, you draw and model in 'model space' then create views through viewports on the title block in 'paper space' same thing here, but you can't cheese it like in acad and just use one or the other interchangeably.
But in Onshape (like other similar 3d cad suites) 'model space' is called 'partstudio' and 'assembly'
And 'paper space' is called 'drawings'0
