how to insert an image into a drawing

I am trying to put an image in a drawing template.
I am following "inserting images" in these instructions: Best Practices for Creating Onshape Drawing Templates - Onshape Learning Center
After selecting the image, I drag from a point to insert it, but nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?

Sketches, part studios, and assembly studios are lightning fast. Drawing sheets can sometimes be sluggish, this is typical.

It sounds like you are following the correct steps. Can you share a link to a document with a drawing from your template?

A moment ago I was not even able to move elements of the drawing to the title block, so I thought I had really screwed something up. But now I am able to do that, and I am also able to place an image in it. So everything is working. But I am absolutely new to Onshape - is this kind of delayed reaction typical?
