What is the view setting to show the mesh lines from imported STL?

The STL imported can only be seen as shaded
.
When view is set to Hidden Edges Visible, only silhouette edge is shown.

@NeilCooke Thanks for answering my DM. Answer: that any mesh above 256MB will have its mesh edges removed for performance reasons.
Further query: Can OS be improved (and performance be maintained) by making it so that mesh lines only show up when zoomed in enough?0
