flange creation

I am struggling to make a flange(s) on this 3mm plate. Part studio will not accept an edge to drop a 76mm flange.
Please show me the way. Thx, Allen.

Was the plate created with the sheet metal tool? Or did you just extrude it?0

Idon´t know if it´s your case but i think that the flange tool has some bugs. In a part like this, you can create an upward flange in the middle face, but if you try to create the flange downwards it gives you an error.

@Cmartinez
You are creating interfering geometry. You will need to make some modifications to some of the flanges in order to get it to work.

Thanks @wayne_sauder, i know what´s the problem, but i think the flange tool should solve this interference by itself..0

that is the top of a step in 3mm MGP, need a 20mm down flange at rear, a 30mm flange down front & 2/ 76mm flanges down thw sides.

I thickened the plate. thx. Allen.
Last week I did get this project created, even managed to export a DXF ready for a Laser Cut machine. I needed to reduce the overall width by 16mm, so tried to do this by altering the dimension in the very first / top sketch, understanding that this is the way to go, Yes, it worked but immediately caused a whole bunch of RED flags (text) of "not acceptable" inputs.
So, I scrapped the whole project. Then started again. Then hit the brick wall.
Thx, Allen.0 -
Your model is using an extrude thicken function to make the initial part. This wants to be started with thicken using sheet metal tool.
