Using Mouse to Pan

Edit: Found it. It's Ctrl+RMB to Pan.

    If you have a 3 button mouse just use the middle button

    I have really liked 3dconnexion cad mouse which has 3 separate buttons and scroll. It's a lot better than trying to quickly press scroll without actually scrolling..
