Is there any way to reduce detail in an assembly for performance?

Hello! I'm new to OnShape. I inserted in assembly some documents that have a lot of detail. A lot of the detail is not visible and I was thinking that maybe there is a way to create a mesh or a projection of the exterior to reduce the part count.
I tried looking for a solution. I thought maybe if I export and import my document as a composite part, would help, but it didn't.
Is there a feature or an app that de-features the assembly?
