Properties, Material Properties and Drawings

Are there going to be custom properties in onshape with custom part templates or just a selection of useable properties as custom. Hopefully there will be more than currently available and ones that link to material material properties eg to get mass.  There will also hopefully be a link to version date and revision date incorporated into the drawing. Drawing copied to a branch with linking revision level and date, not sure what you guys have in mind here.

It maybe necessary to have company templates but better if everyone worked of the same template maybe the only thing that needs changing is unit type. Unfornataly I have seen double ups of custom properties and redundancy when importing native parts into a new company when acquiring drawings from a business merger or a subcontractor. It would be nice if all onshape parts we're interchangeable with matching properties. It would also be good if you could import native SW parts with properties transferred to Onshape even if you had a manual link them.

I love the way properties are nested for all parts within assembly when you go to the current properties section. This will make assigning properties from an assemble vey quick.

I assume there will be a material library with physical material properties, not  sure if others do this but in SW we have built up a library of stock material as the description eg. "Steel RHS100x150x5"  which then transfers to the material properties to go onto the drawing. This way once we are force to select stock material we also get the properties for mass, FEA, ect. See pic.
