Hi experts,

is it possible to copy bodies from one Part Studio to another, even in another document, to use them as tools for a boolean operations?
If yes, how?
Thanks for your help

good to know this tips, but is it possible to break link or copy all features of 1 body to an other document ?
I use this tips on Solidworks to copy old Part & draw to new project if it's nearly the same part with just some little modification

It really depends on how much you want to have an independent document, and if you really mean features or just geometry.

You can copy a part studio tab (and potentially move to a new document if you want) and try to delete any features which are related to other parts in the studio.

You could export a Parasolid and reimport it. It will lose the feature tree, but be independent.

If your goal is to work on an alternative idea that might turn into the main idea, you can use branching and merging.
