Assembly Configurations in Drawings views

I am trying to make a drawing view with suppressions in my drawing. Is there a way to have the suppression checkboxes in the configuration panel from my assembly in the drawing for a specific view?

If you right-click the view, you can change the configuration, but the views cannot be projections of each other. If you just want to hide parts, display states may be a better option (create a display state for each "suppression state" then set that for each view).
