Thread wont generate

Does anyone know why the thread won't generate in this model?

It's because your hole is not parallel, it tapers slightly since your revolve line is slightly off

you need to constrain your sketch better. There should be no blue lines.

To fix this right now, just make this line vertical.
-Select the Line, then press the letter V to add a vertical constraint
then close the sketch

Thank you so much John.  It has driven me crazy.  Such a simple thing.  Great advice about restraining the sketch.  Very much appreciated.
