Explanation list Menu Icons

jan_dohmenjan_dohmen Member Posts: 4
Hello, I am new to Onshape, and already have watched some of the beginners videos online. But what I miss is a explanation list of the Menu icons on top of the workspace. I looked in the help pages, but cannot find such a list, would be handy for me for in the start period while learning the program ! Hope you can provide me with such a list !!

The best reference to isons is the glossary

There might be a better reference.

Hmmm. I assumed that there was an obvious place in the help that spells this out, but I can't immediately find it for the desktop. You've probably noticed, if you hover over the icons, helper text appears, but it's all one-by-one.

The mobile versions of the menus have the helper text below the icons (probably because there's no hover state on mobile (at least without an Apple Pencil 2). The mobile versions don't have all the tools, but this will probably be a helpful start:

Wow! I can't beleive that there is no option to show text for the tool bar icons. Who ever designed this UX is a(n) ______!

Can we reignite the idea of this coming to life fully?! I've been searching as well and there is nothing 2 years later.

I have all the keyboard shortcuts printed for quick reference but a simple pdf with all symbols/shortcuts/and use would be insanely useful in the early learning process and beyond.
