What does the error "no viable alternative at input" indicate?

Please see screenshot below for details on the error, but I am thinking it must be something wrong with my syntax? Just a theory because it is weird that only one parentheses is highlighted for the error in line 384....

    So, in general, when I see this error - does it indicate a typo of some nature?

    I've not seen that error before (or maybe just not noticed) - if you get a red error it's usually a typo or unmatched parentheses.
