Just getting started help

Registered as student and confirmed my email and trying to create my first document. Named it and chose top plane and OK but the sketch tools go away so there is no way to create anything. what am I doing wrong ?

    1. Keep the dialog open while sketching.
    2. Watch some tutorials at https://learn.onshape.com

    Thanks that's what I needed. Not a fan of having to leave that big box open but so far Onshape seems to be much easier than fusion. Then it appears you have to right click on a sketch and choose edit if you want to change anything.
