How can i turn my 2D sketch into a 3d model?

Hey, I'm a student who is a complete novice to CAD software of any kind, I only have basic skills in SketchUp.

I am designing a part to be CNC'd and need a 3D model. It's a part based on one that already exists (image below to give a rough idea of what the part looks like). I have a 2D sketch in OnShape that's like a cross-sectional view but don't know how to make it 3D into a cylindrical part.
