How to select midpoint???

I want to select the midpoint of the rectangle shown below (highlighted), but the midpoint tool is not working. It keeps showing the midpoint of sketch one (the extruded sketch), but it doesn't show the midpoint of the rectangle. Is there any way to find the midpoint of the rectangle?

    Place a sketch point roughly in the centre of the rectangle, then select it and two of the diagonal vertices of the rectangle, then select the midpoint constraint which will fix the point halfway between the diagonally opposite rectangle vertices.
