If I have a shape that I want to split in half, what function should I use?

I want to split it at the red line.

    Answer ✓
    Create a sketch of the red line on the Right Plane, create a surface extude (Extrude > Surface > Symmetric) making sure it fully intersects your part, then use the Split command.
