How to hide parts from part studio in a drawing

brandon_nasonbrandon_nason Member Posts: 6 ✭✭
I have a shed design that I am trying to create a drawing for. I want a view directly from the front, however since I haven't modeled the door/windows, you can see the framing of the back wall. I want to hide that only on that page, is this possible? You can see the drawing on page 2 here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/403bf945288225ad8202767d/w/d9f17939af4058f32feca9e3/e/40309454299bc62f48aa93af

You can either create a display state where the back wall is hidden (you'd have to put all of it in an assembly first but with the newly added "rigid part studio" that would be pretty simple...
You could also manually hide the parts of the back wall in the drawing view.
You could also add a "dummy" surface inside that hides the back (and covers all the openings on the front), or just basic "plugs" for the windows.
You could also use a section view (with a right or left view off to the side of the drawing sheet).
