how can i change the height of an extrusion? - I ask because the height is not on the orig sketch

How can I change the height, width or depth of an extruded part as this is not defined in the original sketch and dimensions can only be defined in sketches and not the 3D parts?

    1. Right click on the extrude from the feature list.  This will bring up the context menu.  Choose 'edit'.  Alternative, double-click on the feature in the feature list.


    2. In the extrude dialog, there is a depth field.  Change it to the desired height.

    @geoff_hill What @jakeramsley says is completely correct but it is worth exploring the other options also , other than blind , there are options such as upto face etc which are very useful to use especialy if you make changes to your models in the future.
