What is the trigger to get out of the "approval required" category?

It's been 7 years a few weeks that I have been trying to get out of the "approval needed" category (where my questions are not published).
Is there something specific I need to do to make this happen?

The forum should automatically allow posts once a handful have been moderated and approved, but sometimes it gets stuck. I'll try to override it.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEA0

My comments/replies are still being quarantined also. Several hours ago, I think, I made my last comment - still hasn't shown up. Any chance @NeilCooke could tweak my settings? I'm not a bot, and I always try to add something useful, as politely as I can.
