Tilting a thicken column on a 3 degree draft surface

antonio_romanantonio_roman Member Posts: 5
Hello,

I have a sketch of a kinda box that i thicken to 50mm and then drafted 3 degrees; on its top surface i added another sketch (these are supposed to be screw points) BUT because of the 3 degree draft of the surface, the "columns" (as seen in the screenshot) are being tilted... however, i want them perpendicular to the base instead (i thickened them out instead of in just for a better representation of the issue). The base is missing as i used a Shell to make the box empty inside.

How do i fix this?

Thanks,
Tony

Ok... however, in this case the pieces will go further than the drafted face... that is not good either... how do i cut the excess now?

    Thanks,
    Tony
