Imported parts for assembly

1) imported two "igs" files to "documents"
2) can figure out how to import item 1) into an assembly
3) I am using iPad Air

    Perhaps the import did not actually convert the files to real geometry? If they did convert correctly, you should have the imported parts available in part studio(s). If not, they are just stored as binary files, and will be of no use in an assembly. To use them in an assembly, the parts needs to come from part studios.

    You should also have a notification (top right) to let you know if the conversion/import failed.

    Hi @Wilson  -  currently iPad only allows importing into a new document, not an existing one which is what you would need to do to assemble two imported parts together. You will need to do this operation on a computer with a browser. Create a document, then go to the + menu bottom left and import your two parts. Then you will be able to make an assembly out of them.
