How Do I Make a Hollow Cone at the End of a Hollow Cylinder? I Keep Getting an Error with Revolve
Hi - I've blown most of today trying to do something that seemed simple at first and would appreciate any tips. I am trying to make a hollow tube with a cone at one end and I can only make a solid cone using Loft. It seems impossible to revolve even just a triangle - I keep getting an error regarding Revolve creating a self-intersecting part. When I follow online videos I think I follow everything exactly (I think), yet I cannot revolve a triangle with Onshape to save my life. When I click on "Revolve Axis" and select the vertical axis that is central to the triangle, the Face of Sketch 18 selections cease to be highlighted. When I click the green arrow Onshape doe not draw a cone and the triangle drawing disappears. What's the secret trick to make a cone?

Revolve only the left or right half of the triangle. When you do a "Full" revolve with the entire triangle selected as the region to revolve, the region will self-intersect

Try selecting only one half of the cone, I think it should work.
M100 is correct. You can also use a loft and shell.

Thank you, everyone, for the helpful guidance. Yes indeed - the problem stemmed from attempting to rotate the full triangle 360 degrees. By reducing the size to one half, I was able to achieve my objective immediately. Thanks!!
