how to create a pattern along the dashed line?, i want to create 10 equally spaced holes.

so, im new here, still leaning, was able to make this model in 3D, as the title i want to make 10 equally spaced holes along the dashed line, using the patterns tool i only have two options, Linear and circular patterns
when i was young i learned on autocad but for 2D drawing only, in autocad there was an option to create a pattern along a specified line, like this whole dashed line, how to do this here

also is there a dedicated place to post questions like this for newbies?

    Hey @abanoub_samy,

    Dropdown under the linear pattern you can find the curve patter.

    The "Using Onshape"is probably the best place for general usage questions. Cheers

    What @David_YL_Nguyen is suggesting is for feature/model mode. What @abanoub_samy is asking for is sketch mode for which there is no curve pattern. So you will need to create a single hole via sketch/extrude or hole tool. then curve pattern it with the tool david is suggesting.
