What could be causing this projection to change? (is it a bug?)

I've made very small angular adjustments to a sketch and a sketch below it that projected a curve has changed dramatically. Asking here is a really long shot, but who knows - maybe someone has encountered this before and can confirm that it's a bug, or maybe it isn't!

I'll walk through the only diffs and you'll see it doesn't make much sense:

Image 1: This is an off-axis Left/Right view illustrating the small sketch change, along with the diff between this version and the original version.

Image 2: here is the curve that is projected. This is a front/back view. I have overlaid the two curves (before and after) using the diff tool. There is a slight difference in terms of the start point and angle about the x-axis (not immediately obvious from this view) but extremely slight - 3 degrees.

Image 3: (next feature below) this is the plane that the next sketch (the one with the issue) is being drawn on. There is no diff at all between the two versions - the plane is identical in all axes.

Image 4: This is the next sketch where I project / use that helix. This is again a front/back view. Look at how far the helix is rotated about the y-axis. I have no explanation for it, since the original helix (Image 1) is not rotated in this way.

So yeah I'm baffled. I am not sure I understand how the angular change about the x-axis has turned into this dramatic angular change about the y-axis.

The only other clue is that the original sketch (from image 1) shows an equals sign with a line through it (not-equals I guess) in-between the two diffs in the list of features. Meaning, perhaps that OnShape isn't recognizing them as the same sketch? Not sure.

Thanks for any thoughts.
