How to make mate connectors invisible (Bolts and nuts from standard library)

nahom_mnahom_m Member Posts: 4

I want to make the fastened mate connectors after inserting bolts and nuts from standard library invisible. After inserting, the mate connectors are visible by default unlike the other mate connectors. Also, under the feature manager tree, the mates (fastened) all say "Invisible" or click to hide. But they are visible in the assembly. When I right click the mate connectors themselves and click hide, they become invisible but nothing changes in the feature tree. Any suggestions?

If your looking to make all mate connecters hidden, use the 'k' button on key board. Use 'k' to unhide.

Well, that worked! That was surprisingly simple. I still have a question though… Even after I press 'k' and the mate connecters are hidden, on the feature tree, nothing changes. Why is that?

The mate connecters don't cease to exist when hidden. That's why they are still in feature tree.
