Snap Hook Feature Script.. where is the groove??

Hi, new to Onshape. Trying to learn how to snap connect parts for 3D Printing I found the Feature Script called Snap Hook. It seems that it does only half a job. Where is the groove for the hook (cantilever)? Am I missing something? It would be really useful. Is there a second feature script for the groove? Kindly asking @NeilCooke for detail. Thanks

Well, no unfortunately. I have already added that featurescript but it's completely different. A cantilever hooks needs a well designed hook groove and gaps in order to perform a snap fit and avoid excessive strain. It seems that the snap hook featurescript is incomplete (half of it missing).
It's usually a ramp. A convex curve on the ramp, rather than a straight line, will make the stress on the snap finger decrease as the two parts are assembled together. The flat back portion of the hook where the finger catches, you actually want positive draft. So that if there is any tolerance mismatch, the finger will still snap over it and fall down somewhat.
I got all my info from this book. I wish I still had it. I think it was $80 when I bought it at work 20 years ago for a design I was working on. Now its a lot more.

Your comment is mechanically and geometrically correct. Maybe someone expert in featurescript programming can help out finishing the second half of the featurescript. otherwise it is useless
It's not useless. Its actually quite good for doing the first half, and saves a ton of time.
FS are just a timesaver. You can do everything possible in CAD without them, using the built in features.
