Having issues with Sweep, sometimes it works how I think, but many times it doesn't.

I have been wrestling with Sweep for a bit, whereas when I sweep it either comes out deformed, or can't regenerate, and sometimes it works like I expect, but I can't figure out a difference. See the below drawing, I made a few sketches, with just a single line and a curve, and when I sweep the circle, some of the sketches come up good, and some don't but they seem the same to me. Any thoughts?

The sweep profile location relative to the path matters!
Make sure the centerpoint of the circle has a "pierce" constraint with the path you want to sweep along and you should get what you expect…
Alternatively if you need to sweep a specific profile along random paths, you can try the "pattern and sweep" FS:

Thanks, that helped.
