OSHAPE drawing - perpendicular section

Hello,

I'm working on a drawing of a plate with angeled shape (triagle shape). I yould like to ask you how to do perpendicular section to a edge of a part. When I tried to do it, it is not possible for me to pick a perpendicular constrain.

    There are two opti ons:

    1. Try the tool to the right of the section tool: "Aligned section":

Select reference line midpoint - lower left- upper right end point to place the section plane.

    2. Try the "Angular" Option in the tool you already used:

Both lead to the desired result. There are differences when it comes to create jogs in the cutting line. Try which variant is best for your use case then.
