Can we please sort by Copies and Links when searching for Featurescripts? Please?

joshtargojoshtargo Member Posts: 374 EDU

I'm trying to find useful Featurescripts, but I can't really search by name, because they're unpredictable in the exact wording.

I can search Public for all Featurescripts, but I really want to sort by Copies and Links to find popular ones. Can this be done? @NeilCooke ?

    Improvement request please…

    The best way at present is to hope that original authors have published their FS work, then when searching public, the advanced search has a criteria called "published featurescript"

    Yep. Just prioritizing originals would solve a lot of problems with search. Searching for published features can sometimes help. There are a lot of band-aids for finding good custom features, but really we need a proper store.

    im sure there are tons of unpublished FS that are great and useful, and id love to find those too. I've written dozens but never published because of needing to make the pdf, and just general doubt that anyone would care about my tools.

    I can almost never find a FS when I want it, even when I have a close idea of what it was called. I end up doing a search in the forum for something I remember reading about, and find the original author and link that way.

    @NeilCooke I don't see those options.
    Also, any search with Category: Feature Studio returns 0 results

    @joshtargo it only searches docs so make sure you are in public and clear the top 2 fields
