Problems with Onshape related to Configuration Variables
Hi,
There seem to be some problems with onshape's Configuration Variables in the last 2 days:
Deleting a non-used Configuration Variable from an assembly makes that all sub-assemblies are not able to generate anymore. The Configuration Variable was used before in the part-studio, but I made that a local variable instead of an Configuration Variable. So there is no reason it should not re-generate (in the part-studio it generates perfectly). It could be that it's using an outdated version of the part or sub assembly.
The fix is to "replace instances" (which should not be required). But even after that, the Configuration Variable at the time of "replace instance" is somehow cached: the assembly does update when it's changed, but at that original value, it takes the default Configuration Variable. See below (gif: default is 300mm, value at time of replace was 400mm).
So it could be a caching-issue somewhere?
Thanks!

have you tried resetting your browser cache yet?
@john_mcclary Yes, even in incognito mode I have the exact same issues. Also tried hard-refreshes.
I'm not able to recreate the issue from your explanation. Can you share a link or make a video of the issue. I'm not sure what the expectation is in the gif
@john_mcclary I've sent you a private message. The expectation in the gif is that the bolts are always mated to the holes at the corners. However what you see is that they "float" at the value of 400mm. And they float at 300mm which is the default value of the configuration variable.
