I need help making my straight track into a curve and spike for a roller coaster

    Link to the most recent prior discussion on roller coaster modelling. Still no custom roller coaster script made but some day I will get around to it. This topic comes up often enough that I'm sure it'll see some use, but on the other hand I do wonder how many of these people are actually getting around to building their roller coasters? There can't be that many new theme parks getting built.

    OH this is for an engineering class isn't it? I did a roller coaster project my first year in college and we got bonus points for how detailed the model was if we went through the trouble of drawing it in Solidworks prior to the physical build. If I had access to a custom roller coaster script back then it would kind of trivialize the exercise, but I would find it funny if one of the scripts I need to develop at work made my old professor retire parts of their curriculum years later. Let me move that one back up the list.

    Yep. I just cant figure out the curves since the box has to be at angles but the rails have to be swept

    Also, its mainly for models, not actual rides. A lot of people build working like 1/30th scale models. That´s why the script is so commonly asked for
