Simple feature to unfold multiple mitered frames into a single tube for laser cutting and bending https://cad.onshape.com/documents/281caa879a59839b46c8418f/v/2cab0cc3f90d9a73056ec9f1/e/457a4892c80dc36602c9e2c0

This one's been in my backlog for awhile. I'm excited to see how you approached it.
Edit: Oh I see, rolled and twisted frames aren't supported. That's probably a fair assumption that forming and lasering processes are usually mutually exclusive when it comes to tubes for most users. That is what most of our vendors tell us anyway.

Awesome script, any plans to add the ability to unfold round tubing in the future?

@bryan_lagrange I'd be curious to see what a round tube part looks like when you try to do these cut bends on them off the laser.

It would have to have some kind of flat for integrity and area to bend.

I did it once many moons ago when I work at a facility with a Trumpf tube.laser. It was one of many test we did to see the capabilities of the machine. A lot of manual drawing of many cuts to put in the area to bend to keep a round profile.

Yes the plan is to add round tube. I worked on this with a customer on the UK.
