Scotch - Yoke Mechanism Not Working Properly

I am trying to make it so that whenever the handle (blue) is rotated, both gears turn, causing the scotch yoke mechanism to work properly, but currently I am having problems with the final mate connector connecting the blue oval piece to my gear extrusion.
If anyone could figure out what I am doing wrong/what mate I should use, that would be nice.
