Is it possible to create a through all hole that is threaded on both ends?
I have tried this with different methods but every time i end up with just one thread on one end, i have not figured out how to keep thread on both ends

AFAIK not currently possible. Try making a through hole without any threads and use E.G. ThreadLab FS to make the threads with defined depths.

The only way I've been able to do it is to cheat with a break in the middle:
In theory all you need is a split face in the middle but the standard tools will all merge the faces of the holes if you try to make them the same size again…

Just ran into this myself… frustrating there is not work around other than forcing different geometry in the middle.
You can do it with thread lab but I have to set the thread label manually to be 5/16-18. and the hole label in drawings does odd depth call out. So i split the face down the middle so I could get it to count 2x as well.0
