Extrude Though Extruded Surface

mr_deekmr_deek Member Posts: 6 ✭✭
Hello,

Am I correct you can not extrude trough a surface?

Expected:
Make a cylinder, back extrude a face up half the object. Extruding trough the object should remove the surface and the object.

Example: See how the revolve cut does not remove the screws serface?

Thank you.

Hi @mr_deek - a solid extrude/revolve will not affect a surface body - only solid bodies. If you want to cut a surface you need to create another surface and use split then delete the unwanted surface bodies (using the delete part command).
