move part to x axis

Hi guys,
When I extrude a part it usually will mess up the orientation with the x-axis. The problem I have is when I download it to 3d print the part will not be on the x axis to easily print. I was wondering if there was a way to move the part to the x axis before I download it?

Thanks.

A part Transform could be added at the end to rotate the part 90 degrees to give it a better orientation for 3D printing.

Better yet, you could try a transform by mate connectors. Place one connector where you want the XY-plane/origin of the print to be, and the other connector on the default origin.
