Can ANSI holes be exported to STL?

I've created a test plate with 1/4in 20 through holes and selected "tapped". When I view the STL file the holes are simple through holes with no threads. How do I export threaded holes for 3d printing?

lougallo Member, Moderator, Onshape Employees, Developers, csevp Posts: 2,005@Jlabs Using the hole tool does not add physical threads to the body. It adds the nominal thread diameter that would be drilled to create a tap in. You would need to then build the thread cutting sweep which the approach can be found here:
