Where can I find the APIs and API documentation for Onshape? How much functionality the APIs cover?

It is very important for any system integrator like me to be able to access APIs to connect multiple platforms (CAD, CAM, CAPP) in a CIM environment. Onshape, being cloud based, will be an excellent CAD platform to integrate via web services, provided it provides a rich sets of APIs.

Another programmatic functionality in Onshape, and one available to all Onshape users, is Featurescript: https://www.onshape.com/featurescript

@arkopaul_sarkar We agree and hope to have our APIs publicly available soon so you can create API keys or use OAuth to build integrations into all types of tools.

@Matthew It was launched a while back but is done in two fashions.. OAuth and API Keys.  You can go here: https://dev-portal.onshape.com/ to get started.

@Matthew Once you have an API key, you can use the API explorer app (from the app store) in a document to see what sorts of API calls are possible and how they are formed.
