if I use suppress command then export part to .step format, will it show up in .step file?

want to suppress a part without deleting for future use. Can I use 'suppress' command in Parts Studio, then Export part into a .step format without the part having the particular feature I suppressed?

Correct. Suppressing a feature (or using Delete Part on a part or surface) is as if the feature/part never existed so it will not show up in the export. Try it. Export and re-import.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI5
