Hi folks.

This forum seems a great resource with a whole bunch of helpful people frequenting it. (Thanks for that BTW)

A suggestion for the future.  I wonder if the methods used to ask for, and offer up help in the forums could be made a little easier?

I see quite a lot of this scenario on the forums:-
(Poster) I'd like some help doing xyz please.
(Reply) Sure, happy to help but I'm not quite sure what you mean, can you post a screen grab?
(Poster) Here you go...
(Reply) Ah, I see.  Can you post a public copy of your document and I'll try something for you?
(Poster) I've made it public it's called "dfhsdjfj"
(Reply) Sorry I can't find "dhsdjfj" can you post a hyperlink to the url?
(Poster) ...

What I'd like to suggest is something along these lines

(a) Poster is stuck whilst working in their document so they hit a "Please help me" button from within the partstudio.  A dialog comes up asking for a brief explanation of the issue.  A post is then automatically generated on the forum.  A revision or public copy of the doc is also automatically created.

(b) Helper.  Someone in the forum sees the post and is available / willing to help.  They can then click "take control of doc" from the forum post and immediately have the document open for editing in a partstudio.  They do their thing and add a comment when done.  Forum updates.

(c) Poster can accept changes and have it merge to their doc or reject to keep original.

(d) Was sort of joking with this bit but perhaps not.  Optional check box along with "mark question answered" to offer 50 cents via paypal to a designated charity of the "helper".

Just thinking out loud.
