Hi
Loving On-Shape as a 72 yr old. Some questions -
Where do I find a written tutorial explaining the use of Part Studio/Sketch1/Assembly1 etc. Want to draw a model train carriage. Where do I start?
Can I use a .jpg photo and draw over the top to get the end view and side view etc
If I send a drawing to trash the number of private documents does not reduce ?
Anyone on board who lives near Palmerston North/Ashhurst in New Zealand ? Send contact to swchuck at gmail dot com
Thanks
Charles

Welcome to the forum, friendly bunch of people here.
(Q1) Various tutorials here:-
https://cad.onshape.com/help/index.htm#cshid=tutorials
(Q2) Yes you absolutely can import a .jpg and sketch over it.
(Q3) I believe docs sit in trash and then a further step of "empty trash" is required to confirm you want to kill them.

I am trying to follow https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/sketch-image.htm
Have got an image on the tab bar at bottom beside part Studio1. Have tried to get to show in the PartStudio1 with no luck. What are the steps to get the .jpg in so that I can draw over. When draw over finished can I revert the .jpg to its own tab.
Thanks
Charles
