Features left behind after deleting parts - can I just delete them?

I just noticed that my features list includes features (sketches, extrudes, etc.) for a part that I deleted. Is it safe for me to just delete those features? Sorry if this is real basic but I'm deep into using Onshape and yet still newbie enough to feel anxious about deleting stuff...

Features are left behind because model always builds from ground up, you can use temporary parts to create other geometry and later delete part and it still exist in history as reference to something else. But if you delete items from feature list, it will change re-build accordingly.
I hope this explains at least a bit.
