why does this fail? blind works fine:

Blind in last is supposed to be for drilling holes through more than one part. Try changing it to through.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI6
Answers
(a) Split the part into two (via new plane offset from the side face).
(b) Put the bolt holes in.
(c) Boolean it back together again.
