Converting an imported 2D drawing now need to convert to 3D

I have imported a Draftsight 2D set of drawings and want to go about converting individual parts to 3D and then build a full unit with Tabs for each part withing my new document. Any pointers would be really appreciated and, being very new here, I keep getting stuck. Thanks.

I think you need to get them in as dxf to be able to use in sketch. I don't think it's possible to copy paste stuff from drawings into sketch which would be really handy in your case.
