Not possible to edit sketch dimensions

Hi!

I am trying to do my very first part. However, I am not able to edit the dimensions of the sketch at all. Dimensions are somehow locked immediately after the geometry is created.

After you finish a sketch and create geometry with an extrude you can go back to the sketch to edit the dimensions by right-clicking on the sketch in the feature tree and selecting edit. From there you can change the dimensions and when you complete the sketch the geometry will update.

Sounds like your dimensions are being placed as Driven/Unlocked which means that the geometry is the driver. The underline means that you have just overriden the actual dimension value. Click on a dimension and look for a lock on the edit bar. Make sure it is shown as locked.
